For this work, I chose 5 concepts that play an important role in ‘Western philosophy’: metaphysics, meaning, purpose, logic, transformation. By layering the letters, each concept is given a distinctive shape. It was carried out on coloured glass from the time before World War II, which I bought in a Berlin glass factory in 1989.
